Site Manager

Scope of Works

  • Responsible for supervising construction sites and running construction projects.
  • Executing project quality plan and ensure that project team adheres to PQP while maintaining proper documentation, daily site reports and inspections.
  • Managing site progress, subcontractor’s manpower requirements etc.
  • Check site progress, designs and drawings.
  • Prepare monthly progress report with proper presentation
  • Resolve any disputes which arises if any, identifying areas for improvement in project’s progress.
  • Attend client/ consultant/ site meetings.
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years working experience in construction.
  • Preferably manager specialized in Engineering – Civil/ Construction/ Structural.
  • Willing to traveling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office and Autocad is a must.
  • Experience in housing project.
  • Well-verse in Electrical and Mechanical drawings.
  • MUST BE willing to base in Penang.

Site Safety Supervisor

Scope of Works

  • Assist the Project Manager to supervise all safety & health issues at project site.
  • To ensure all construction activities, procedures, processes are implemented according to OSH Act, Construction & Machinery Act & other local authorities on safety and health matters
  • To work closely with local statutory (DOSH,NIOSH,BOMBA,etc) to ensure compliance and update OSH related issues
  • Oversee and monitor safety, health and environmental job related to the site
  • To monitor and control sub-contractor’s environmental, safety and health practices
  • Ensure all work sites are safe and compliance with the CIDB requirements and company safety policies

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
  • Must possess NIOSH certificates and registered with DOSH as Safety & Health Officer will be add advantages
  • At least 2-5 year(s) of working experience in the construction field is required for this position.
  • Willing to work in Klang Valley
  • Full-Time position available.

Project Planner

Scope of Works

  • Develop master plan schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet Contract requirements.
  • Support Project Manager in integrating subcontractors programs into the master plan schedule.
  • Manage site workers and sub-contractors to ensure work is completed according to given budget, timeline and quality.
  • Monitor and analyze project effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative tools.
  • Monitor schedules and critical activities as well as provide early warnings to project team.
  • Identify project risk and execute action plan to mitigate.
  • Gather actual data, update project schedule and develop reliable schedule forecast with support from project team.
  • Prepare short and long terms resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and project team.
  • Highlight and identify areas of delay as well as propose migration measure or recovery plan.
  • Prepare / Review EOT claims to client and form subcontractors.

Requirements

  • At least a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent discipline.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in planning.
  • Expert in Microsoft Project.

Quantity Surveyor

Scope of Works

  • Able to calculate cost of construction for project tendering based on the tender drawings and documents, cost estimation, Bill of Quantities, material sourcing.
  • Prepare material control and wastage monitoring.
  • To prepare price analysis, tendering strategy and detail costing.
  • To evaluate and negotiate all sub-contract rates quoted for tender.
  • Prepare work order to awarded subcontractor.
  • Prepare progress payment to subcontractor.
  • Analyze actual cost against budgeted cost.
  • Ensure the subcontractor is in compliance with legal requirements, owner specifications, and government regulations.
  • To evaluate the progress claim received from the sub-contractor and suppliers.
  • Responsible for pre & post contract management.
  • Prepare final account for client and subcontractors.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveyor.
  • Min 3 years working experience in the industry.
  • Proficient both oral & written in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
  • Good knowledge in project tendering and project contract management.
  • Positions is available for both Klang Valley and Penang.

Site Supervisor

Scope of Works

  • To supervise site operation and work progress.
  • To liaise with sub-con on the works sequent, quality of work, manpower, material usage and machinery usage.
  • To resolve construction technical matters and problems, discrepancy of drawing.
  • To supervise and assign daily workforce for general workers.
  • To attend to client-consultant meetings and site meetings and sub-con coordination meeting and to prepare monthly report.
  • To monitor and to schedule materials deliver, machinery mobilization and small equipment.
  • To prepare work program and progress report.
  • To liaise with office’s QS and purchasing department on the appointment of sub-contractor supply or procurement of materials, plants and machinery required.
  • To liaise with consultants and clients for detailed drawing, specification and variation orders.
  • To prepare correspondence/memorandum to clients, consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • To conduct progress claim evaluation with consultant QS and assist in making claims for progress payment.
  • To verify and attend to site progress claim evaluation by main contractors and NSCs.
  • To assist in managing and resolving the defective complaints raised by client or purchasers during Defect Liability Period.
  • To undertake any assignment to be given by the management from time to time as decided by the management.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/Construction or equivalent
  • Good communication and written skill with ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Willing to work and travel to different location
  • Candidate must have at least 3-5 years working experience.
  • Preferred with driving license and have own vehicle to travel to work.
  • Willing to work over the weekend during hand over period.
  • Able to multi-task at work.
  • Positions is available for both Klang Valley and Penang.

Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Coordinator (Property Developer)

Scope of Works

  • To monitor the M&E scope of works at site.
  • To ensure all M&E works are carried out in accordance to the plan and timeline.
  • Attend weekly and other interval site meeting and update the M&E related matters.
  • Ensuring the applicable procedures & practices are in accordance to the specified engineering practice.
  • Trouble shooting of system as & when required.
  • Other duties as and when assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience on the supervision on M&E works.
  • Able to work independently.

Contract Manager / Assistant Contract Manager

Scope of Works

  • Preparation of tender documents for tender exercise
  • Attend tender interviews
  • To handle and lead pre and post contract
  • Preparing tender and contract documents including bills of quantities
  • Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
  • Assist in establishing a client's requirements undertaking feasibility studies
  • Perform risk, value management and cost control
  • Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders
  • Allocating work to subcontractors
  • Preparation of Letter of Award to Sub-Contractors
  • Providing advice on contractual claims
  • Preparation and verification of claims
  • Preparing of project costing and budgeting
  • Preparation of Variation Order, Construction Budget and Final Account
  • Internal audit for site material and works
  • Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports
  • Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use
  • Perform any others work related to QS task, taking off, prepare BQ, tendering, claim, negotiated and planning for the project etc.
  • Undertake other tasks related when required by the Management from time to time

Requirements

  •  Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree / Higher Diploma / Diploma / Professional Degree in Quantity Survey/ Building Technology or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin • At least 8-10 year(s) of working experience in the Construction field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Manager specializing in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Have the knowledge of Project Tendering & Contract Management

Site Engineer

Scope of Works

  • To understand Project policy for safety, cost and quality and support Project/Site Manager to achieve them on all site activities.
  • Responsible to organize and plan installation schedule jointly with Manager as to ensure completion within the time frame and monitoring work progress at site.
  • Understand and assist manager on the daily updating, monitoring of site progress.
  • To resolve construction technical matters and problems, discrepancy of drawing.
  • Able to keep updating of all incoming drawings received/proper records of all abortive/ variation works/ discrepancy/dimensional matters.
